I have s7-300 PLC configured using Simatic manager STEP7 V5.5 and S7-1200 plc configured using TIA V13 SP1.
I want to do some data exchange between these two PLCs.
I can modify STEP7 program as it is under our scope, s7-1200 programming, we cant change anything.
For s7-1200 PLC already permit access with GET/PUT communication from remote partner is activated.
In STEP7, I added new S7 connection in the same project as unspecified connection.
Address details window for partner  I added, rack 0 slot1 and put the IP address of partner cpu ie s7-1200 cpu.
connection status shows green setup indication in Netpro.
Now at programming end, I used FB14 GET , but when I send request, no data is received. There is no error. Status is 0.

At s7-1200 plc end, DB used is non-optimized db.

please help to resolve it.

Hello ,
We are now able to communicate s7-300 PLC with s7-1200 plc.
Only thing we did is, we reloaded instance DB and FB in which get put block was called. and it was done!!
Now if we analyze whole sequence what we did,
1) call get instruction in a FB and parameterized it with ID w#16#1
    then in netpro added s7 connection but here we add some wrong parameters like for partner, rack0 and slot should be 1, but we kept slot0
   Then save and compile and downloaded from netpro
   then downloaded instance DB and FB
   At this instance, it was showing setup established when checked online in Netpro but we were not able to get the data.
2) In second phase, in netpro we corrected slot0 rack 1 for partner PLC, saved and compiled and downloaded from netpro.
    here we didn't download, FB and its instance DB.
   We tried to send request for dta, but we didn't receive anything
3) In third stage, we just downloaded instance DB for get and fb in which get instruction was called.
now we are able to get the data.

But I am not getting, if I changed anything in s7-connection (except connection ID), why I need to reload instance DB for get put call. How netpro changes affect instance DB.
Can you elaborate it?
