Hi all, 

I have a problem with the SF led, it still ON (red) although the system is working fine but I need to know why this happening. below is what I did:

I made a network consist two cpus (315-2 pn/dp and 317-2 pn/dp), Phoenix inline ILB PN 24 DI16 DIO16-2TX, Scalance 208 and ET200M. Im reading signal from the Inline IO and using 317-2 to send it to 315-2 with the aid of BSEND/BRCV SFBs then to present the reading to the ET200M module. everthing is working fine. but the led still ON.

I attached the diagnostic buffer (Message 6) is hoping someone can help me to find the cause. I know it something related to the IO module because the diagnose address belong to it. but I dont know who to solve it.

The event ID-38CD  or 38CB are exiting events means that module has recovered from error situation(CB-rack failure & CD-confi. mismatch). That's why, you are getting proper results. There will not be any functional problem at all. However for SF LED, I am not sure but suggest you to use correct configuration file and rectify electrical problems regarding earthing, supply to the module.

what you mean by configuration file? if you mean the GSD file, I installed it form Phoenix website, this is the only version they have (Version 1). 

For the earthing, I did it but I didnt see any change.

it seams that some parameters in HW-config from Station No. 2 are wrong.

check the configuration of this station.
