Raghav Advanced Member Joined: 8/30/2007 Last visit: 8/11/2025 Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	I had just finished testing a program for a particular project. I exited MicroWin Editor without any errors. Later, i was astonished to find that whenever i tried to open the file, it gave a message "The specified file is an invalid project file." !!! Rather strange, as i have worked couple of times before and never came across such a horrifying situation. Can anybody help me as to how i can recover the tested file. Any workable recovery procedure would be a blessing to my hard work !!! Attachment MicroWin_Err01.jpg (526 Downloads)

More recent versions should open old ones with no problem, but can you try to remove the version of Microwin you have and install an older one to see if this solves the problem?

AanalK Posts: 16 Rating: (6)	Thanks for your suggestion. As I have windows 7 operating system, I can not install older service packs then SP9of microwin 4.0. Because only SP9 is competible with Windows 7, 64bit.
