In view of Industry 4.0 revolution, of late we are facing a new requirement in which a data table need to be pushed directly into the SAP database from a S7-1200 station.

SAP is currently an established enterprise software to manage business operations, the data analysis & presentation is managed by SAP server & it can have clients all around the globe. So the requirement is also seems to be very genuine that if there is a method to push the production data in almost real time into a dedicated structured table in the SAP database or an SQL database. Further integration with SQL database & SAP will be left to IT.

Need to understand if this is possible to achieve from S7-1200 & if yes any sample application is available. Adding IEC or DNP3 modules to S7-1200 station is also allowed if possible.
