Try this: create a do-nothing project from scratch that just has the hardware configuration you need.

Try to simulate the hardware.  If it works, you may be able to drag a few blocks at a time from your crashing project to your project that simulates and find the block(s) that cause it to crash.

If you cannot simulate just the hardware, remove hardware until it will let you simulate it.

I am assuming you have TIA Portal Professional V13 SP2 and have installed the latest updates available for SP2 for all portal packages, like portal professions, wincc basic / comfort/advanced, startdrive, plcsim.

Hi,

I've updated TIA Portal V13 to SP2 and i've got the problem that can be seen in the picture.

I can't simulate the projects with any PLC, and S7-1200/1500 PG/PC interface isn't shown, so i receive communication error every time. I don't know if this is due to the crash or another cause.

Any help is welcome
