when you want to communicate over Profibus, you need a GSD-file, that you that is embedded to the HW-config of your DP-master.

I have gsd file, and I have already configured SIPROTEC 7SJ62 in Hardware configuration of Step7 project.  Here I am asking for its configuration in DIGSI 4.9 software. 

As for as I know, we have to first configure Profibus-DP into 7SJ62 via DIGSI software, then we can treat it as dp-slave/master.

Hello Jack;

Look at chapter 4 of the following manual, it explains the selection of the Profibus interface in DIGSI 4, and the use of the gsd file and mapping selection to integrate the Siprotec relay as a DP slave in Step 7.

Of course, this configuration will work if you have a PSE module (Profibus-DP interface, RS-485) installed correctly on the rear of the relay:
