Multi-motor Individual control.

Its a yarn winding machine with a drive and 8 motors. Each motor is single phase 0.25 kW runs at the same rpm. there exists a yarn sensor for each.

Is it possible to switch on or off an individual motor while the inverter running? because providing a drive for each motor is expensive and we have 40 machines like this.

If it is possible please suggest me a drive and procedures.
