We have a CNC lathe machine with SINMERIK 802d system. It was not operated on long period. Now it is stop the booting. See the attached picture. Pls help to solve this.

It looks like all data has been deleted.

Do you have back up on PCMCIA card or 802D s/w CD with toolbox? With PCMCIA card, you can reload the same during power up by pressing SELECT key & start the machine, With 802D s/w CD, you can write PCMCIA card & follow the same procedure as mentioned above.or else you need to get Siemens service support to load 802D software & then reload PLC & Start up back up data available with you.

Please confirm the CD details. It must be toolbox CD, it does not contain 802D system s/w + which software does your PC have e.g. cardware or Sinucopy. 802D system software is installed on Flash memory of PCU. 

Since your system does not boot completely, PCU might have hardware problem also. I suggest you to contact your nearest Siemens service support center to check 802D PCU & get 802D system software. Once it is loaded, then you can re load the back up you have.
