What is the difference between 3VT1 in LV10/7 catalog and 3VA1 in LV10/2 catalog?

When we have to select each one?.

3VA1 = Moulded case circuit breaker with thermal & magnetic trip mechanism, Electronic trip unit (ETU) can be added for more accurate protection. MCCB are mainly used for line protections.

3VT = are switch disconnectors. They do not provide any protection. These are used as main control switches for sub-distribution boards for disconnect the load for repairs, transfer etc. etc.

Thanks for the reply . But in 3VT1 catalog its mentioned that it has thermal oveload and short ciruit protection. Is it an additional accessory?

In first post you discussed about LV10 catalog. Then referred LV36 catalog which is old. Please note, user should always refer the new/latest catalog as the release of new catalog superseeds older.
