I have the following problem

There is an TP170A panel that communicates with an CPU224

the connection  is made on the profibus/mpi port of the panel.

baudrate is set 19.2kB.

communication between plc and Hmi is working normal.

When i try to make a prosave file the program hangs as it wants to establish the connection.

also the screen returns from transfer menu to start menu  ( i am  using prosave v13).

The TP170A has bootloader 5.2.2.23

I have tried mpi as Dp settings in "set pc pg "

However i have another machine with the same hardware and with this tp panel i can make the prosave file. mpi aswell dp connection

Bootloader of the TP is 6.0.1.4.

Is my problem related to the bootloader version?

check after boot cfg of panel in menu. There can be some options that aren't same to your other TP which works with Prosave.

Thanks for the info,

both screens are visible in accesible nodes with simatic manager.

So the connection parameters should be ok i guess.

The picture below is the config menu from panel, wich i can take a backup from.

the Baudrate on picture is 187.5 but is normally it is set 19.2kB.

seems that the first device was compiled with ProTool V5 and the second with V6.

And relating "Requirements for back transfer" (see How do you back transfer the projects of an operator panel and what should you watch out for?) Backup/Restore-functionality with ProSave starting from ProTool V6.

standard for MPI is 187,5 not 19,2. Sry again, via which inerface you want upload that not yet uploaded HMI? Probably only via serial RS-232 cable (as is in TP manual described) or PPI Multimaster cable (USB or RS-232 PC side). In case of attempt with RS-232 you can start set lower comm speed and check. In case of MPI/DP you need have set speed as is on HMI set.
