Hi, Presently we are using a sinamics G120 (6SL3000-0BE41-3UA0) with a line filter (6SL3000-0BE34-4AA0) to run an inclined bucket conveyor. The motor is a 125hp, 460 volts, 137 amps situated about 1200ft away from the VFD. I have observed a current imbalance on the incoming to the VFD of L1 - 117 amps, L2 -135 amps and L3 - 141 amps when the drive is running at rated speed (1800 rpm) at 121 amps drive output. I know this VFD is oversized significantly for the motor it drives. My question is, Is the VFD actually causing this imbalance in the incoming currents on the lines and how can this be explained? We have no issue with the voltage thus far. Looking forward to hear from you.
