Can ping to HMI but can't connect

Moxegy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, unfortunately I cannot make connection to any HMI anymore. I could connect to them before and still can connect to PLC's. It seems like a network thing because I have this problem with any HMI even in other project/locations. If I borrow a laptop from a colleague everything works fine. I can ping the HMI from the command prompt in Windows 10 but that's about it. Even Tia portal can't find the devices, but is throwing some errors.(See screenshots) I already searched for explanations and solutions but it looks like a general error. I'm mainly using Tia portal V15 with 1500 Comfort panels but I have the same problem in Tia Portal V14. Pictures of errors: [snip] Attachment AmhypTR.png (1136 Downloads)

Hati Platinum Member Joined: 9/21/2012 Last visit: 12/24/2025 Posts: 4827 Rating: (512)	Check that you PG/PC interface for S7ONLINE is set to the ethernet card in use. Be sure to select TCPIP.1 extension for the ethernet card.

Moxegy Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I tried that but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. I also tried a usb->ethernet converter but that didn't make any difference. It's strange that I can connect to the PLC's without any problems.
