I have a lathe with a 6 position turret and Siemens 802C control.

The parameters got lost and they are restored.

Everything is working except for the toolturret.

I'm no expert on this topic so I tell you what I know

It's a motor on the back of the turret. It rotates clockwise direction and when at the correct position it rotates counter clockwise to lock the turret in place. There are no hydraulics or any other mechanism. 

Around the axle of the turret is a ring with 6 positions. This is the encoder which is activated with a little magnet on the axle of the turret. This way the control knows the turret position.

When I issue a T1 in MDA (or any other toolnumber) the turret doesn't move. I hear a clicking sound of a relay and that's it

But when I go to jog mode, press K4 button and go back to MDA the turret moves 2 positions. But it doesn't clamp. It always moves only 2 positions! 

Now I have to go back to jog mode, and back to MDA and now it clamps by turning counter clockwise.

I think something is wrong or missing in the parameters?

What's the best approach to solve it?

Would it be possible that the PLC subroutines got wiped because of the battery which as empty?
The machine lost all parameters. 

Machine parameters are restored and everything is working, except for the turret.

I would need subroutine 51 for my turret. And I think it's not present anymore?

I'm busy trying to upload the PLC subroutines so I can check whats inside the control..and what not.

And which subroutines control the turret?

Is it only 1 routine? Or are there more routines?

When I issue a T command the control says  "Wait feed enabled missing"
