WinCC Flex 2008 OPC Server Fails to Start

Zova_11RU Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	I had faced the same issue. I use WinCC Flex 2008 SP3 UPD2. All DCOM settings and gpedit.msc policies are right. I did that many times for different OPC servers but Flex first time. I'm not shure about MSMQ settings. Anybody found out answer for the issue? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WINCC Adv. OPC Server Fails to Start. Any idea what seems to be a problem? PS: I have to notice the settings of both PC are identical (dcomcnfg, gpedit.msc, msmq etc). Also I have to describe strange behavior SOPC_HmiRTm.exe that I observed. 1. If on bad PC SOPC_HmiRTm stopped (it is normal state) and remote network client starts, SOPC_HmiRTm starts also, but during short time switdches off. Client returns error 80040154. 2. If on bad PC SOPC_HmiRTm run locally and then remote network OPC client is connecting and everything works fine. When remote network OPC client switches off, SOPC_HmiRTm also stops. 3. The same error remote network OPC client returns when is connecting to "good" PC, but on "good" PC Runtime didn't been started.

Can't find my request (seems not to be adopted finally), but I had similar issue with TIA WinCC Advanced. When installing only newer version it didn't work, but when installing older version first it was ok. Regards, Frink

Zova_11RU Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	"bad" PC Windows7 has been upgraded from 2008SP3 to 2008SP5 because OPC communication didn't works. After update I have the same result. "good" PC Windows10 clear installation PS UAC and Firewall on "bad" PC switched off, on "good" PC UAC and Firewall have been returned in required state
