I'm in tia portal V15upd4

I have 4 S210 (without startdrive) with technological object speed and positionning.

My application work, but sometime I have a MC Alarm 421 on 1 of my axis.

The Mc Alarm 421 description is "short" drive perturbated".

On the drive all led are green.

In the topological view, all is OK.

How I can find the first element who call Mc Alarm421.

Hello,

a reason of technology alarm 421 could be that STO was actuated in the drive. Could that be the reason in your case? If yes then you just need to reset the TO and the drive is switched on again (of course only if STO is deselected again).

But, why does it emit the alarm?           STO is very often occuring in machines that has protective gates, it is part of normal usage.   ( within the EU, protective devices and barriers are commonly used for about all industrial machinery   )
