Hi Experts,

I am using KTP1200 panel in one of my machine. The panel is working well when i power on the machine and after continuous use for 3 to 4 days, the screen hangs and touch screen and button doesn't work. When i power of and power on, then works fine and again after a couple of days the problem occurs again. Need your guidance to resolve the issue.

I am using TIA Portal V13.

Is the "screen saver" functionality switched on?

I have seen the problems you describe on 3rd party HMIs. The problem begins when the unit is hot and it time-out for "screen saver" mode.

It would be best if you talk to Siemens directly as this users' forum might not be helpful. Use the "Support Request" button to trigger a free support session.

Make a report on the environment conditions like temperature, vibration, EMF noise (welding).

A desperation suggestion -
Update your software to TIA Portal V13 SP2.
Download the HMI program. Make sure the firmware linked to V13.0.2.x is loaded to the HMI.

Place also a time reading that you get from the PLC. This would confirm when the "freeze" occurs. Observe if there is any change.
