Hi,

     I am using 2 numbers 1214C PLC for 2 of my hydro pneumatic based stamping application. Foe strip feeding i have pneumatic feeder. In one press i get 5 pins per stroke and in other press i get 6 pins per stroke. I have configured HSC for counting number of pins during feeding operation. I have installed Vester Fork sensor 1 Khz capacity for counting the number of pins and i have interfaced the sensor in I0.5 input which can support upto 100Khz. 

Now i get 5 counts for 5 Pin press and is working fine. But for 6 pin press, i get only 2 counts. I have checked the sensor position and found ok. The feeder speed will be approximately 50 mm/second and the stroke length is 25 mm.

Guide me to solve the counting problem.

Please have a look at the properties of I0.5

Check the input filter, it should be small enough to detect pulses.

Thank you for the guidance. I have reduced the Input filter time and now its working fine. Thank you for the support.
