Hello

I have a question about transfering tags from PLC to PLC throught SCADA or HMI.

I have 1 PLC connected on SCADA PC throught ethernet, and the other one (PLC 2) connected throught PROFIBUS DP.

I want to use tags (in this case temperatures defined as %DB.11.DBW6) and transfer it to other PLC S7-200 where i can use that tags for calculations in program of that PLC. I have all tags defined in WinCC Advanced v13, and i have them displayed on SCADA.

Could i transfer it  from 1 to second PLC throught SCADA and how?

I cant do programming on PLC 1 becouse it is too risky for me (i know its the easiest way but i dont want to mess with the original program). On the other PLC (S7-200) i can easily change PLC program.

Hello THOMPSONvk,

I would try something like this:

• Set up an HMI tag (hmi_tag1), connected to the PLC tag, you want to read from (plc1_tag).
• Set up an HMI tag (hmi_tag2), connected to the PLC tag, you want to write to (plc2_tag).
• Set the aquisition circle to a proper value.
• At value change of hmi_tag1, copy value of hmi_tag1 to hmi_tag2.

I did the correction in my PLC and SCADA with your suggestions.

It's working well for now, without any problems.
