Sinumerik System 3M 4C fault not starting

Deese Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I have a 1990 axa machining center with a sinumerik system 3m control. I am having problems with it. It has been out of service for a number of years. I replaced the battery,reset the pc/plc. I held 8 and input + power on to load the basic machine data. I have a green run led on the pc but the card 6fx1122-2ad02 has 2 red leds that are on continuous,and the operators panel has a red light flashing now. CNC600 Posts: 455 Rating: (77)	"Input" + 8 is not sufficient to get the control back to live... You need to format the memory completely before. ("cancel" + 2 / + 3 / + 4) see chapter 2.2 in that document. position of switch S1 need to be checked for that operation as well.
