PLC clearing step is not proper...try clearing the same properly 2-3-2

The following steps with the PLC start-up switch S4 will cause a PLC GENERAL RESET:

1. Turn to position “2” (STOP operating state)

PS LED lights up.

2. Turn to position “3” (MRES operating state, request general reset) and hold

in this position (for approx. 3 second) until the PS STOP LED lights up again.

PS LED goes out and comes on again.

3. Within 3 second, turn to the

STOP-MRES-STOP (“2”–“3”–“2”) positions

PS LED PS first flashes at approx. 2 Hz and then lights up again

PF LED lights up

4. Once the PS and PF LEDs are lit, turn the switch S4 to position “0”

The PS and PF LEDs goes out and the PR LED (green) lights up

A general reset of the PLC is complete. It is now in cyclical mode.

But you need to share more information like is it 810D or 840D PL?

How/what is the problem? 

Please explan in detail.

My machine writes error - 700004 "Fuse has dropped". We checked all fuse - normal. Maybe I am wrong, but I think that error was written somewhere. So I want to reset PLC and diagnostic buffer. But always I see alarm messages - 700004 "Fuse has dropped". Even if PLC did not start.

If you have PLC ladder hard copy, check DB2.DBX180.4. This logic will help you find out the cause of alarm 700004. It is logic developed by machine tool builder.

 I have no PLC ladder hard copy.

I see that on I/O MODULE red diode "FAULT" is lighting. And all signals do not transmit to PLC. So PLC thinks that chain of fuse is broken, although all fuses are good - I checked it.

Can you advice me something?

I see that signals from I/O module do not come to CCU. Eg I see in area "diagnostic" - "PLC": I35.0 = 0, but it must be 1 - I see appropriate LED is on. Also via "diagnostic" - "PLC" Q40.3 = 1, but appropiate LED is off. So signals do not transmit between CCU and I/O module.

What do you think what can cause it?

I checked every contact on cable - cable is good.

I changed I/O module from working machine. Old I/O module works on working machine, and another i/o module does not work on broken machine.

I can not change CCU, because it is 840D on working machine.
