Speed control with encoder Sinamics G120

Kuuuuba Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello. I would like to control my AC motor with sinamics G120 by technology PID controller and encoder. When i'm changing setpoint of speed then i don't have any resposne. Value of speed is still the same 100 rpm. Also i can't stop motor when i'm sending PZD1 with parameter p840 OFF. In U/f mode everything is allright.

RB91 Gold Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 1278 Rating: (302)	Hi, for the communication to the drive and for controlling it I would highly recommend to use one of those options: 1) use Technology Object 2) use the drive with standard telegram 1 and the Function Block "SINA_SPEED" from the DriveLib library, which is very simple to handle (just enabling the axis and giving a speed setpoint; as feedback you get the axis state and actual speed) - if Startdrive is installed to TIA you already have this lib installed, if not you can get it here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109475044
