Hi,

I have a XYZ 560 with this problem, from 2003.

Now and then it happens on X axis.

Error 607, Contouring error, etc.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sometimes servo sounds funny too, like when encoder is bad.

Restart of machine solves all problems.

Only happens on rapids it seems.

Wrong, rapids didnt matter but lowering acceleration and increasing overload seems to work.

Does that mean anything to you ?

Update: I have checked impedance on all phases of the servo motor, ~3.5 ohm on all. Quite near the values on Y axis.

We checked cable and re-soldered it to be sure, no difference.

it still runs for 5-40mins then fails with X contouring or 607 error.

Yeah it might be that, but I want to be sure since its quite expensive.

Is there a way I can check that ?

Tried to re-arrange my axis so that X and Y ended up where spindle and Z is, but I got error 39 on that.

LT module 6sn1123-1ab00-0aa1

Y and X on same "driver".   Y works like a charm.

I took out the LT module for X and Y and it had what it seems oil inside the fan and around it and also burn marks here and there... both the board and the plate covering it is as you black.

I assume this is my fault and that I need a new LT module ?
