UH50 Series Heat meter and M-Bus

Andrey Zozulyak Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Good evening ! I use the UH50 series heat meter with G4 MBus module to retrieve data from the meter via MBus. But I can only get Flow Temperature and Return Temperatue as an integer value, with no digits after decimal points. Is it possible somehow to retrieve those values as an float value ?

When I have a look at the Interface description of the M-Bus-Modul Generation 4, the data telegram in normal readout and fast readout mode is including the flow and return temperature only in a resolution of [1°C], this is correct. But with the M-Bus modules of generation 4, a subset of the data in the normal or fast readout mode can be selected manually from the value pool (command "Selected data"). In this value pool I see, that flow and return temperature are coded with a resolution of [0.1°C]: #118, flow temperature instantaneous value 08h 5Ah #117, return temperature instantaneous value 08h 5Eh This could be a solution to get a higher resolution for Flow and Return Temperature value? A subset of the data can also be selected with the Application Reset command. With Appl.Reset subcode 0x50, the Instantaneous values are selected [68h 04h 04h 68h 53h / 73h A 50h 50h CS 16h]. It is not written in the Interface description, how in this case the Flow and return temperature is coded, but this would be my first try. Best Regards [rvb]

This requires an opto-head and the corresponding service software. So in a first step I would check, if the the application reset "Instantaneous values" is providing a better resolution for Flow- and Return-Temperature (because Application Reset is a M-Bus Usergroup command and therefore well known)? You have to set the meter with UltraAssist to "modern data structure".
