I am currently exercising on Distributed IO Using

S7 300 , CPU 315-2DP AND 

ET 200S , IM 151-1

my question is related with server module .

I do not have it on hand and just tried without it.

But the BF lead is blinking and i have seen eror on

My TIA portal Step 7 Professional V16.

Please advice me what to do.

The terminating module on the right end of the ET 200S terminates the ET 200S distributed.

It is mandatory.

The terminating module on the right end of the ET 200S terminates the ET 200S distributed.

It is mandatory.

If you are asking ET200S termination module. Then article number is 6ES7193-4JA00-0AA0

TET200S, Terminating Module.

Note that ET200S and ET200SP are different series.

In case of ET200S we use  termination module.

In case of ET200SP we use server module (6ES7193-6PA00-0AA0).

sry but I must say that I'm very curious why you simply not put to Google ET200S termination module and also ET200SP. I think you'll find in screenshots how this looks and will have better info, also links to Siemens Support page in case of documentation can be listed. In this time of Internet is very easy to have good infos about products but you also need read manuals depended to your HW what can be pain for most of users.

I did , But i got for ET 200 Sp that is why i asked on the forum whether they are same or different.and i Got the right help and i have already order the terminator. I think it is good to clarify My doubt before ordering.

ok, if you find here on Forum some documentation to some of ET200S IM-151 specific module or CPU, you can find all requirements for setup, cfg and comissioning. Also termination module requirements is there. same with ET200SP HW module/CPU. Sry but I don't know what documentation you've tried find. All what you need is also right up Search in Online Support but as I said, yes is hard to read 800 pages of manual from start to end but this is mandatory for cfg of modules to not have future problems with cfg and ordering. Yes, ask for info to not do some mistake before order is ok but also you need be familiar with HW because with asking you can do also first mistake for not correct module.
