Hi,

are you using an IOT2040? Then you can use the Ethernet interface X2 for connecting the IOT to your internet router. 

With an IOT2020 you will need a WiFi USB dongle to establish a internet connection..

• take a LAN cable
• Plug one end in the interface X2 on the IOT2040
• Plug the other end in a free port of an internet router

The IOT2040 gets an IP address assigned by the router via dhcp.

Hi, We could already connect the IOT to the internet through a network cable in X2 (eth1), however now we need to establish a connection between the IOT and the CPU, we try to follow the steps in the document "the first steps" but it tells us to change the IP of the eth1 to a static one which we are already using to connect the device to the internet. How can we both devices without interrupting the internet connection?
