hi all

i use ktp400 basic panel and programed it by TIA portal v16 update 2

i define 2 level access in my projects : operator & admin

in 2 project after some month after first program , I give report from customers who they cant use admin level with certain password !  they used admin level in some month without any problem!

detail:

after enter username & password HMI ask again for new input data again but in operator level haven't problem

what can i do for haven't this problem in future?

I had the same type issue on the KTP400 within this week. I entered the password credentials again in WinCC and loaded the panel again -- making sure "all" are loaded. Something must have gone wrong there with my first download.

I create a text file to store all the passwords. The first password entry in WinCC is filled out by copy-paste from the text file. The second (confirmation) is typed out. This way verifies that I am filling out and store the password that I think I am filling out.

Consider also to not use the password limit that is normally set to 3. Filling out the password incorrectly for 3 times will lock out the user name.

do you mean password in HMI panel setting or user and role on security setting on project tree or user administration in TIA portal on HMI Section?

my problem is in TIA portal on HMI Section when user want to fill data on login pop up page
