I want to add users in my Unified project, but I have got a problem. When I login on the User Management, I get the error: "Error on login: The Make Ticket operation failed.".

Also, when I want to "Check status" or "Synchronize" in TIA Portal in "Users and roles", I login with username and password I created in the WinCC Unified Configuration. Then I get the message:

"The check of the UMC status failed.

Authenticated user do not have Function Rights for the operation.UMC error code is 338."

Now I can't add new users to my project. Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

But i still don't know how to add users to my project.

I am using WinCC Unified and i placed a button that can only be pressed by a user with the operator role. I watched a video on youtube about adding users to runtime and adding authorizations in WinCC Unified. I did the same things as in the video, but when i want to load the simulation with "Keep current user administration data in runtime" unchecked i get an error with the message:

"An internal error occurs. Contact Customer Support with detailed error information and traces."

So everytime i want to add user or try to access the user management i get an error.

Where did you create the users?

Did you try to connect UMC and TIA with the umc-tool? Thats the wrong way in V16.

The user shall be created in the TIA Portal. I am actually not sure if you have to uncheck "Keep current user administration data in runtime", but may be true.
The synchronisation with the umc is not needed and doesnt work really (in V16).

You can try following things:
1. Reconfigurate the umc-/web-configuration with the configuration tool
2. Create User in TIA and assign role
3. Load to the RT (not sure about unchecking)

I created the users and assigned the roles in TIA Portal.

I have got it working with a MTP Panel now, but not in the simulation.

When i start the simulation and uncheck "Keep current user administration data in runtime", i get the error. If i don't uncheck, the simulation works, but without the users. So, i can't login as one of the users i created, only as UMC admin which is created with the configuration tool.

i didnt work with "simulation" yet, so maybe thats the clue.

I have a lot of problems with that. All manuals about WinCC Unified doesn't help.I want to add user groups in my Unified project, but I have got a problem. When I login on the User Management, I get the error: "Error on login: UMC is not Configured.UMC error code is 4094." I cannot add user groups and manage users from browser. How can I configure UMC in TIAv18 + Unified??
