I did not know that login was mandatory. That complicates things cos first you need to login and work with received cookies. First use MinWebs login form and you get response which you use to authenticate your red request. I read as bytes and write to a file.

EDIT: So you need to write a program to do it and run it e.g. ewth scheduler. I tested with one file only.

That is only for copying one file with known name. 

You need to get the file names from the server. I assume that it is not that hard because you can manually go through file list. You just need to get that list and loop through it and copy each file.

I have successfully tried your solution. I have also written a WPF version of it for a more comfortable testing.

UnfortunatelyI have limited knowledge of C# and web development.

Monday I’ll show it to some colleagues, to see if they are interested.

It could also be the basis for solutions for Industry 4.0.

I'd like also to write a file to the server or delete a file on the server. I tried to write the code below (it's a pure “copy& paste”) but I get the message "405, method not allowed".

Perhaps the HMI server does not allow the DELETE verb and it is useless to insist.

You need to add your login cookies to every request.

httpRequest.Headers.Add("Cookie", cookieHeader);

And actually it would be better to use HttpClient class instead of WebRequest. I will test retrieving all files with HttpClient and WebRequest.
