When I tried to monitoring program, comunnicationdisconnected and appeared the next message:The PPI Multimaster cable was disconnested from the profibis network. Any previously established connection have been lost. All the next atempt to make connection with CPU was without success. When I tried to connect I got information that CPU is Unknown, address 2, baudrate 187K (this speed is between CPU and TD 200) .On the other side, on TD display appeared message: NO parameter block. In PLC program exist TD data block with VB0 as start byte. Can someone tell me what going on with communication and why, in this case. PPI Multimaster cable is adjusted for PPI connection (dip switch 5 is 1). Thank you in advance.

Also check connections between connectors in PPI cable. regards

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hello, You should first check out where the problem is, it is on PLC side or it is on software side. For that if you have another s7 200 please connect with it and check weather it can communicate with software. If it is working, problem is on your plc side if it is not working you have to check all bard rates, cables, PG interface, etc. if all of them ok your plc may have a communication problem. Also try with wipe out exe and clear all PLC. Regards

If you use PC/PPI cable (point to point interface) and have only one connection slotto PLC (S7-224) you can operate only 1 device PC or TD200. Some others S7-200 have two ports. Then you can connect. Disconnect TD-200, then you can work with PLC. If looks like S7-200 series PLC can be used as slave in different systems. (I never saw this) Then they can be operated by PG/MPI connection. Good luck.

Before, in PLC existing old program where in system block was speed 187kb (speed between PLC and TD200). And in the first time I menaged to connect with PLC but later I couldn't connect. After that I tried with multimaster cable USB and I menaged to connect and download new program. For information, I think that problem was in speed and unpossibility of RS232 multimaster cable to hold that speed. Thanks for your hearty help.
