Hi Siemens Expert 

We are having an twin spindle  machine with 840 C Controller .   I would like to know the list of Parameters required to enable in  Auto mode 

The Problem is 

I could able to Inch the spindle  in JOG Mode , But It is Not able to function in Auto Program.

Kindly Share the Codes and the list Parameters and the list of  signals  to Diagnosis the machine .

Hi,

Siemens have used ectended M and S codes for second spindles for many years

Unless the machine tool builder has doensomething different then the second spindle is commanded by:- M2=3 S2=500 i..e Clockwise rotation at 500rpm

But MDA Ch 2 M03 S100 it is not running .

In Channel 2 I need use M03 100 or ?

If you have two channels then m03 s100 should be ok. You need to look in diagnosis to see if there is a spindle inhibit or the spindle override is at zero
