can't open the set up app on my Mac

Federico_Cimino Member Joined: 2/14/2022 Last visit: 9/25/2022 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello all, i have downloaded the installer for logo! soft comfort V8 demo for school. after having opened the setup.zip with the stuffit expander tried to open the setup.app but I get this error message " the app setup can't be opened" i have Mac OS Monterey 12.2.1 installed thank you for all help

AutoGen_5092639 Member Joined: 3/7/2022 Last visit: 4/20/2022 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have the same issue here. - I downloaded the demo for LOGO! software here : https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ae/en/view/109782616 - Then I went to the MacOSX folder - Then I used the stuffit expander to unarchive the "setup" application. This did not do anything - Then I simply double clicked on the archive and unzipped the ""setup application" - I then get an error message : "The application “Setup” can’t be opened." My OS is Monterey 12.0.1 I have Java 8 update 321 installed. Can you please help ?

I hope Siemens will update LogoSoft for Apple Silicon (I will get one soon) Its possible to run the Window version in Wine for Mac users, not a great solution Mojave release date was 24 september 2018, I do know my Mojave use this version jdk1.8.0_144.jdk
