Pls find attached picture If its a back up USB, how I can check it is there is new back up there or not? Is it always selected for automatic back up? It seems that automatic backup function can only be enabled if SD memory card is connected. So that USB could not be used as medium for automatic back up https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/49313233/121218571787 You can make a backup of the project using ProSave or from Control Panel https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/58876345 Hope it helps. But plugged in in a Comfort PAnel it has no function like a common USB Stick. so You have to look in the HMI Project, perhaps the USB Stick is used for logging or recipe memory. Stop the Runtime and check whats on the USB Stick. Check also the printed on information on the USB Stick enclosure. Which License is it for? If its a Runtime Optio nlicense for the Panel then the license should not be on the stick, it should be on the Panel. Bye Murof
