Iam gettting the below mentioned problem with the pumps which aredrivenby Sinamics G130 drives

There are two pumps in which onehas torun in full speedand another one is in standby and the standby means it is always running with 30% of the rated speed with the remote control. From one year these pumps are running normally after commissioning.

When the pumps are loaded (Switched to high speed) immediately after 3 seconds on the panel of the freq converter the alarm LED flashes and in warning the following message is appears- "A07400- DC link voltage max. controller active".

During Standby when the motor is running in 30% of the rated speed Vdc max is normal around (670) and when the pumps are switched to high speed from the remote immediately after 3 seconds "A07400" is appearring and on the display Vdc is also going above 770, drive is getting stop means going back to standby and cannot able to run the motor on full speed.

Parameters Details:

P304= 460V, P305=375A, P307=260kW, P308=0.92, P310=60Hz, P311=3575, P1120=12, P1121=5, P1300=20, P1240=1, r1242=770, P210=400

Remedy (about thisalarm given in the manual)
If the controller is not to intervene:
- increase the ramp down times
-disable the Vdc max controller

Is this a really problem with the drive or anything from the remote need to be checked

Can anybody help me to solve this problem.

I am currently facing the same problem and it keeps happening.

Its basically due to high inertia. Normally for high speed, you will have to use higher ramp times or provide some way to reduce this excessive dc either by using DBR or by using regenerative modules. This is in general, for more details, you need to provide exact system details installed, problem details like its new or from commissioning, etc

Problem you described seems to me is drive is getting regenerative feedback. If drive ramp up time is high and load on the motor during this time is high then motor is running at high setpoint then setpoint given by ramp generator, so regenerative voltage is produced that add to DC link volatage. this generally happens with large pump or fans.

you have enabled VDC max controller? You can try disabling it. Set 0 to P1240. What VDC max controller does is to maintain DC link voltage it will accelerate motor, which in your case causes more load so more regenerative feedback. 

if problem is severe then as suggested earlier it is better to use some dynamic or regenerative breaking module.
