Hello. Do any one of you have any experience with using a laser in the positioning loop in the S120? I'm thinking about a Sick DME 5000-111 with SSI interfaceinterfacing a SMC 20 or 30 to convert the positionsignal to DriveCliq so the position can be used in the BasicPositioner. https://mysick.com/saqqara/pdf.aspx?id=im0008091 After reading some threads I'm unsure if I can get the Absolute position for the laser without having to do a synchronization on every power-up. For positioning a trolley, the accuracy of the laser are good enough. But will the position-regulator in the Sinamics act funny when the position from the laser are not fine resolution?
