I have sucessfully created function blocks using SCL. It's very much like Structured Text in other PLC programming packages.

One thing I can't figure out is how to read the OB1Previous Cycle value. I thought there would be a system variable for this. Looking at all the OB1examples, they are just not making sense to me.

Is there an easy way to read this value inside a function block created in SCL?

Use SFC 78 or SFC6 to read the OB1 data directly outside OB1.
