ashishvijay Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Sir, I was updating the firmware(OS) of MP 377 12" but in between due to power failure it got interrupted and firmware(OS) updatewas aborted. But again when i started the MP 377 12", it's not showing any thing just a message " Waiting for image update..". Now i want to update the firmware(OS) of this HMI but connection also cannot be establish. Please suggest some method.

Please reset the MP to the factory setting and then try again updating the firmware. What settings do you have to make on an MP 377 to reset the operator panel to the factory settings?

Ayman Elotaify Diamond Member Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 1/14/2026 Posts: 4522 Rating: (843)	Hello, During updating the OS of the windows based panels, a message appears on the panel telling you "Do not reboot the panel until finishing the OS update" I remember this message very well. Actually I have never reboot the panel during the updating of OS so, I can not tell that my suggestion here will be based on my experience! But let's try to use Prosave for resetting the panel to factory setting. try all possible connections. And I will keep searching how to solve the problem. Please feedback us.
