But I don't know how to give ip address to IM153-4. in hardware, i wrote cpu ip is 192.168.98.10. im153-4 ip address is 192.168.98.11 pc ip address 192.168.98.12. i can be online to cpu. but cpu does not find im 153-4 how can I download program into im153-4's memory card ? jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, The IM is a Profinet IO device. In HWconfig you will see that that the IM has a "device name". You can choose a name by yourself (should be unique in the network). - If you change the name from the default one, compile HW, download to CPU. - Now you must also assign the choosen name to the IM itself. Select the IM, and in the menu "PLC" you will find the menu point "assign name".

Osman_ Posts: 243 Rating: (4)	I forgot to ask something. I want to use ET200M IM153-4 with CPU 412-2 DP. It has CP 443-1. Can I use it? If I can't; Can I use ET200M IM153-4 if I insert additional module to CPU412-2DP ? Or do I have to change cpu type with the one who has PN?

Mr. Tanzeal, you can configure your hardware as discus in this forum,you have just assign your device name of IM153-4HF as you configure in hardware configuration. if you face any query you may create post ,i am sure you will get satisfied reply.from expert.
