mounesi Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear friends I have a profibus network with 313c2dp master and 45 auma valve slaves. Because of number of slaves I used 6ES7972-0AB01-0XA0 diagnostic repeater but I can't configure my network could you please advise? many thanks

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	The diagnostic repeater has 3 physical segments, but they built only one Profibus network all together (one logical network). Therefore, In STEP7, in the HW config, you will see only one network, even if you have used a disgnostic repeater. On the other hand,in the technical specifications of the 313C you will detect that it can be a master for max 32 DP slaves. One of them is yuor diagnostic repeater. I guess that your problem comes from that limitation.
