Did you check for any clues in WinCC Logs folder? Dec PS. Maybe you can attach in here those log files. |

You coould also check the status of the SQL Server WinCC Components in the SQL Server Configuration manager. If these are not running, force a start of all the services and try again. |

dearWolfgang B i have faced same problem today itself & also solved it. You have to deactivate WinCC & then go to Alarm Logging. At there you will find Message archive option. Just right click it & reset the archive, After then restart PC & WinCC . Your problem is resolved. Thanks Jaydeep

Hello Same problem here. I am using pcs7 v7.0 (step7 5.4 wincc 6.2). The system was working ok but after a while same message appeared in Alarm Logging window. I reboot the system as recommended by the excel file of system messages and remedies .I also reset the archive. It works for sometime but the message raises again. New Alarms can be seen in Alarm logging window but they do not enter journal list and they are really lost! There is no entry in the files in Diagnose folder of Wincc related to this message. Has anyone solved this problem yet? |
