Problem Calibrating Siwarex U from Siwatool

carlos.cordova Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello: I'm new to this kind of module and i've been reading all the manuals out there for the siwarex U and the Siwatool, but i cant find an explaination of why i am having this problem. I have a Siemens Load Cell (3.0 mv/v - 1 ton) conected to a siemens junction box (siwarex JB), it is bridged as indicated, SENSE+ with EXC+ and SENSE- with EXC-. Im using a sheilded Siwarex cable (6 threads, three pairs, blue/black, green/gray, red/white). I have all set up, the wiring checked and i can communicate to the Siwarex U via Siwatool. The problem comes when i try to calibrate. First of all, i get a fixed "0" in the Display for the channel (I only have one channel). Then, when i send the parameters (In my case 4 mv/v for the 3 mv/v load cell, the adjustment weight and the units) the zero in the display keeps like that, showing zero. As far as i know, it should variate and give any value there, but it keeps zero. Following the Quick Guide, i give the first command, and Adjust Zero Valid, it allows that command, but when i load my adjustment weight it keeps the zero in the display and it does not allow me to send Command 2, Adjust Weight Valid (It gives me a message that i'm attaching here). All of this with zero in the display, communication via serial port working fine and no error messages in the module. When i do the theoretical adjustment, it shows a value, but it is not accurate since i'm only using the values in the technical data of the Load Cell. The weird thing is that i have variation in millivoltage, but the siwarex U seems to be ignoring in some way this millivoltage. I have tried with two Siwarex U Modules by now and i'm still stuck there. I can't believe this is a hardware problem, so i think i'm doing something wrong, but i cant find what it can be. You can control the current digit values into the Siwatool software into the DR31. Best regards Siwarexi
