SQL client for logging data testing

Marko Bursic Posts: 1410 Rating: (154)	Hi, I am finishing MySQL client on PLC that will allow to archive data directly on PC running MySQL server, that means that is capable to save data directly indatabase on PC without use of other drivers. I have tested the response for authentication, with spying on tcp ip real transactions and use of PLCSIMI have made exact response like PC client. But I can't test with real comunication, since PLCSIM can't emulate ethernet port of PLC. Is there anything that I did wrong with PLCSIM? Is any other possibility like demo version of WinLC that can also uninstall without problems? Is anybody interested in MySQL client and making tests, it is made in Step 7 SCL using TCON,TRECV,TSEND, so I think it could be also compiled for S7-1200.

Marko Bursic Posts: 1410 Rating: (154)	you need to define a DB with username and password of type string. maybe it won't work in first try, I have tested the procedure of encoding, hashing,...I didn't tested connection TCON TDISCON TRECV TSEND, so it might not work in first try, but I can send you also code and if you willing to test it I can helpto make the first release.
