How to transfer or download project from WinCC V11 Professional SP1 RC to RT?

hardik.012 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hello, Iam facing difficulty with WinCC V11 Prof. I have a WinCC RC and RT (Professional SP1) on my laptop. And only WinCC RT professional SP1 on a PC station/PC panel. The project which i have created goes in RT in my laptop where i have my RC as well. However when icopied it on the desktop of PCpanel where only WinCC RT is provided, the RT did not open. I read d manual as well. Have made sure that Computer name and Author name of both PC and laptop are different in project. I also tried to communicate both PC and Laptop with ethernet cable by sharing a folder between both as described in the manual. However, it(PC station) just wontdetect any project in its RT. Where might have gone wrong? Hope i get the help asap. Thank U.

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello, The Runtime file works on this computer which you insert in your project. You copy the whole project folder on this computer. Then you start your Runtime. The Runtime and the WinCC RC must have the same version. (both WinCC V11 SP1) Tweety

hardik.012 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	i have done that a 1000 times. Copy from WinCC RC Prof SP1 to WinCC RT Prof SP1. I also took care of comuter name and author name. generated the required .xdb file, saved proj, compiled it, simulated it in RC side..... then copiedit to RT but it just doesnt showthe RT file. I also know the pathwhre .MCX file is located, ihav also UN-INSTALLED and RE-INSTALLED RT to chek whether i hav done any mistake while installing but nothing seems to beaffecting. I have made sure that only 1 file of project is there iin RT side. Everytime i select the .mcx file from browse, it hardly stays for a second and vanishes.

Youdownload theproject of RT withthe function "Download to device" in WinCC V11. You can find more information in the help of WinCC V11. You search after " Download to device Professional". Tweety
