S7 200 As a Slave in MODBUS Communication

autobots Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear All, iam working with s7 200 communicating with Allenbradly PLC as a slave now the client is asking that they need Modbus Adress for my PLC. as they are communicating with my PLC thorugh Gateway and my plc has got DP Port they they have connected my PLC with thire plc. now as i have enabled the plc port 1 as modbus adress in the plc hardware config. now what else i can provide to them or what else i have to give them for communicating with my plc

autobots Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	hey ganes thanks for your support. but as i said to establish the communication between allenbradly master plc which is connecting to my PLC through Gate way and my plc S7 200 is with serial port...... they have converted the 485 to gateway but they are asking perticular adress of my plc to recognise on the Gate way....... now as from my side i have enabled the Modbus blocks and gave it a perticular port for communication ( PLC is S7 226 so port0 for PC to PLC communication and Port1 for Modbus communication) now from my part do i have to give them any oterh aspect for the communication. i hope iam clear enough to tell you my problem please help me out

Through which you can ensure the communication is successful as well as you can guarantee the MODBUS parameters given to other end are valiated.
