But perhaps you can limit user access to just the login page until the user has logged in., If i remember right you need to create 2 input fields, one for user name, one for password then program a button for "log in" that runs the command "Log in" on the "on click" event. The Log IN function is under the function category of User administration and requires that you pass the variables from the IO fields into it.

You could use that event for start screen and connect that even to 'ShowLogonDialog' function. Then once your HMI is loaded it will ask for login. I would encourage you to make this on script, because after first time loading you could set some internal bit in order to not show login dialog when you change screen back to the initial one. Also, you can't force user to login. You can only show dialog, but user can always puch 'Cancel'.

You could run it only directly in the events, so in this case you will be always forced to see login dialog when you change screen. Need to find another solution...

With the help of a script and internal tag you could set a flag that you have already showed dialog once and do not show it again. Unfortunatelly the function of showing login dialog is not usable in scripting. By the way, you screenshot is from TIA and this is a WinCC Flexible conference.
