ErickViGa Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a really problem, i need comunicate a GE FANUC 90/30 with a HMI MP277, I can communicate my laptop with de PLC using RS232 to RS485 SNP Adapter, I has tried comunicate the HMI to PLC with connection cable MP2, RS 422, for GE Fanuc, I got this configuration in Manual WinCC flexible 2008 Communication Part 2, but this configuration not worked, so i decided to bought a RS232 to RS485 Converter (HMI MP 277 accept RS485/RS422) but not worked too. Any soulution? Thanks, Regarded

Thanks, Regarded Hello, I have Found One Document Related to Siemens HMI with other PLC, May be you have used the Same Cable which Mention in the FAQ, But you can Have a look on the RS 422 - RS 232 Converter.pdf also have a look on Why is no connection set up from the operator panel to the controller via interface IF1 A (IF1 B) (IF2)? As I have not Used Siemens HMI with other PLC yet, but Siemens PLC with Other HMI.....

ErickViGa Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thanks for Reply my post, Today i tried comunicated with the WinCC runtime and simulate the fisical HMI, i used the RS232 Protocol and the COM1 tried to connect with the PLC GE Fanuc, but the PLC can't respond, do you know if i need to configurate any elese aditional HMI device (Baud rate, Parity, Data bits, Stop bits). Thanks a lot!

ErickViGa Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello to all, Thanks for help me and for yours suggetions, i have been complete the project, i got the Communication between GE Fanuc series 90 30 and MP 277 SIEMENS HMI, my mistake was in the bus address (WinCC), i don't configured that, but with patience and some hours reading i got the solution, the address bus need do match with in SNP ID in the LM90-30 software. Thanks to all.
