How to save the action/alarm log? Not thro store log in alarm log area…….

I need Action log consists of……………..

1. PLC alarm

2. NC alarm

3. Parameter adjustment

4. Offset adjustment

5. Program selection

6. Tool command

7. Password status.

I already did some exercise but I didn’t get viewable log……………

My steps are,

1. I entered FF in Display MD parameter 9012

2. Then I go to to Startup – HMI – System settings – Action log – I selected as per my request.

3. After alarm occurred, I go to F drive AC LOG folder & Action log file. But I m unable to view the logs….. When alarm occurred the size of file ll increase.

4. Is there any option to view this file ( I tried in Notepad/WordPad/MS word) or anyone tell me how to store the action/alarm log ?

could i guess are using PCU20 or PCU 50?its a 810d 0r 840d

wht is your HMI version in your machine?

have you checked by rename this actionlog .com file to .txt

i have seen this action .com file opens in .txt format please check it once

It is a 840D Controller with PCU 50...................

I try to change the file type thro Rename option but i didnt get........

State me clearly ...........Bcos itried to send the file to U to change the file type..

But itwas notuploaded..

open my computer , there you will see the tool menu , open toll menu and select folder option in side folder option select views. there de sect the HIDE EXTENSIONES for known file.and select selectr SELECT THE SHOW HIDDEN FILES then open action action log file it wil show shows in .com file remove .com and open in word pad.
