Alarms 21612, 300504, 25201

Ententa Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have problem with spindle motor's encoder. We get following alarms:21612, 300504, 25201. They aren't constant, but apperar one in a while. We think this suggests cables, but arent sure. We already checked all cables on encoders and found nothing. Can anyone say anything mre about this issue? Also which encoder alarm is this? The one located in the motor, or the secondary encoder, which is connected to the spindle via gearbox?

OvidiuNastac Posts: 419 Rating: (19)	Hi It seems that you have a issue with motor encoder or with the cables or connectors (alarms 25201 and 300504). For 21612 check the enables signals either internal in the PLC (DB3...DBX 2.1 and DB3....DBX 21.7) and/or external. Good luck Nit

Ententa Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	The problem is that the malfunction isnt constant. It happened three times, and resseting machine helps. I dont think we are able to find the cause, because it may be miliseconds long. Long enoug to stop the machine, but so short that we wont be able to find it. Thats why i need to be sure that its the encoder from the motor. We have two, the one on the motor and secondary to monitor axis. We have to order replacement cables and I have to be sure that i get the right ones. We dont get alarm 25000, from active measuring system, so i think it must be motor, but i cant be sure.

Then you see all Sinamics Alarms and Warnings. In your case (Powerline) youalready see the Simodrive Alarm 300504. This alarm says it is a problem oft the Motor Encoder!
