PCU 50.3 seven segment display

vinod@67 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a machine equipped with a 840D system. On start up the seven segment display on the PCU 50.3 - C displays code 28 and both the LEDs(H1 & H2) are on. Can any body tell me what does this mean? and where can I find the details of these codes ?

What Iunderstand is, there are differentmeanings for different stages of operation. The problem which I have, falls under the first category ( Pleaserefer to the attachment). Please refer to highlighted text area. At this stage the seven segment display displays "28". Iam unable tocorelate this with the table. Could you pleasecomment on this? Thanx ! There is no display on the screen. i.e, it remains blank ! howeverthe NCUdisplays "6" 2.are you connected PCU-TCU together in the machine...??? No!We are using PCU 50.3 - C(1.5 Ghz,512MB,Win XP Pro Embsys ; Siemens part No. 6FC5210-0DF31-2AA0)along with OP 12 Note : - I have checkeda PCU 50.3 -C of other machinein " Headless Mode" outside the machine and in this case there is no error code displayed on the seven segment. It displays "00" asdisplayed in the normal workingmode. For testing purpose I haveswapped this PCUwith the defective one and it works ! but, my concern still lies with the defective one. I seek your help in understanding this issue. Thanx !

In you PCU50.3 you have DVI/VGA slot you can connect your External PC monitor and check the screen display is coming ...if it is coming in your external monitor then it is OPERATOR Panel(OP) could be defect...if screen is not coming then the PCU50 defect.
