how to lock a part programs individual lines

naren1983 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I've a cnc sinumerik-840D & 810D with PCU20. I tried to lock the individual part program line also the whole program. But as we don't have the protection level key i'm help less. Please guide me regarding the above...

narendrakumar Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Dear MBA, I've checked and found part program getting locked on the 840D screen.But i also use HT6(hand held terminal 6). The program line is locked.but in the case of the whole program locking through MD and kept even key position-0,the program is getting edited in HT6.i've even programmed key position 0 in PLC also it is getting edited through HT6. Please help meeeee.... I need the part program should not be edited from HT6.

narendrakumar Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	i have checked but it is only getting locked by ;RO. Through m/c data or diplay data it is getting locked from the 840D screen,but it let to change the part program through HT6. anyway my purpose is solved. Thanks MBA.
