Vinoth N Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Dear sir, I'm currently working with S7 300, CPU315-2DP i have configured Read protection for CPU315-2DP, I forget the Password please help me how to clear the CPU315-2DP. Now i can't download, clear andonline status also. Please guide me to solve this problem. With regards, N.Vinoth.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Do you want to clear MMC to factory state? Generally it can be done if you write an image of empty MMC ( just formatting will make MMC UNREADABLE by PLC).

You can copy all the program blocks when you select on-line of the CPU and save to XXX project. Step-1: Switch off the CPU Step-2: Remove the Memory card (MMC) Step-3: Put CPU into Stop mode Step-4: Switch on the power to CPU Step-5: Open the Hardware configuration in Step7 Software Step-6: Put On-line and right click on the CPU Step-7: Select the Clear/Reset function. Step-8: Put the memory card in to SIMATIC Field PG and delete the program. Step-9: In hardware configuration set password protectionlevel-1 (No Protection) Step-10: paste all the program blocks from XXX project. Thanks & regards, N.Vinoth.
